Who Does the Lord Bless?

The Lord Blesses His Faithful People
Psalm 115:12-15 (ESV)
12  The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron; 13  he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great. 14  May the LORD give you increase, you and your children!
15  May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
 
We used this word blessed and do we really know what it means? In the OT is means a “state of happiness”. When you say I am blessed you are saying,” I am happy for many reasons you are happy. The word blessings denotes the bestowing of good, usually conceived as material.
In the NT is has a meaning of ‘deep spiritual good” that God gives to His children.
Are you blessed? We are blessed to be a blessing to God and to others.
