“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."-John 15:5 (NLT2)
Without Christ, we can do nothing. A vine branch has one great purpose—to bear fruit. It is useless for making furniture or for building homes. It does not even make good firewood. But it is good for fruit bearing—as long as it abides in the vine. Some are not bearing fruit and some are bearing the wrong fruit. Abba Father, am I bearing fruit? Is it good fruit? Is it the right fruit? May I truly bear the fruit that You want me to.-Amen!

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!-John 15:5-7 (NLT2)
Abiding is the secret of a successful prayer life. The closer we get to the Lord, the more we will learn to think His thoughts after Him. The more we get to know Him through His Word, the more we will understand His will. The more our will agrees with His, the more we can be sure of having our prayers answered. touch with Christ moment by moment. Abba Father, every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. I want more and more of Jesus. The longer I am with Him the sweeter He grows,- Amen “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. Christ Himself is the vine; believers are vine branches. It is not a question of the branch living its life for the Vine, but simply of letting the life of the Vine flow out through the branches. Sometimes we pray, "Lord, help me to live my life for You." It would be better to pray, "Lord Jesus, live out Your life through me." Abba Father, live out Your life through me. Let others see Jesus in me.-Amen! " Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, "The will of the Lord be done." -Acts 21:13-14 (NKJV)
How many of us really pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done"? Or "not my will but You will be done"? Are we afraid to do so. Are we so selfish that we want our will over God's will? Those who pray and who follow God's will are those most fulfilled in life. Am I? Abba Father, it was a shock to hear of the deaths of those I have known over the years. But it only makes us aware of how fragile life really is and how quick;y death can come not only to the aged but the young. May I be prepared to die but to live now for You.-Amen! " But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. " Acts 20:24 (NKJV)
My life is no value to me for my purpose is to finish the race with joy. Let me continue in your grace and mercy to fulfill the calling You have given me. May I continually testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Abba Father, lead me into the path of righteousness for Your name sake, May I honor and glorify You daily. Teach me Your ways that I might teach others. Reveal to me that which will change and transform lives.- Amen! |
