" Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! " Romans 11:33 (NKJV)
Parents teach their children that the shallow end of a swimming pool is the safe end. Deep water is dangerous. You can drown. Yet there is one safe depth. It is on God's end. He is the deepest depth there is. God is unsearchable. He is the almighty God who is greater, more holy and endlessly stronger than we can ever imagine. Therefore our earthly depths are not a problem for Him. Nothing can separate us from His love.

" Therefore , since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -( Romans 5:1 ESV)
Faith is not a leap into the dark. Faith is the firm trust and confidence in God. It is to trust Jesus with our entire life. It is to believe that He traded places with us. He paid in full with His life for everything we could do for ourselves. On the cross Christ restored the way between God and us forever. That is why we live by faith. We do what we believe. Do you truly believe? " My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." - Psalm 73:26 ESV
Have you ever felt like a complete failure? Well, here is the good news: God never gives up on any of his children. Time after time, His people reached the end of their rope and then He intervened. He still does today. He will never let us drown in our sorrows and failures. He delivers us. Call out to Him, and experience His presence like never before. " You are citizens along with all of God's holy people. You are members of God's family."- (Ephesians 2:19 NLT).
Family in bound by blood. Therefore the Bible also calls for us as believers the new family of God. We are made children of the King through the blood of Christ. Yet, our earthly families also matter to God, so much so that He wants all of us to belong to Him. As fathers, grandfathers, and sons, it is our calling and purpose to dedicate our families and carry them in prayer constantly, and help them direct their lives to God. What books are you reading? Are you reading anything? I like to read and most of my reading is in the religious area. Particularly, I love to read biographies past and current. I just completed " Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus", by Nabeel Quresh. An exceptional book if you really want to know about Islam. I have found that reading has almost become a lost art or discipline. Since technology has placed so much at our finger tips we have become lazy in reading and studying what is important.
I encourage you to start reading again. Maybe a book you have read or one you haven't. Get into it and enjoy learing more. |
