" Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all."-Isaiah 53:4-6 (NLT)
Christ Jesus took on himself what I deserved because of my sin. I cannot thank Him enough but I can accept what He did for me and be grateful not only by thanking Him but by living for Him. He loved me first, while I was a sinner and died for me. Abba Father, thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die in my place. Thank You that He paid my sin debt and I have been born again because I repented of my sin and followed Jesus. Help me to remember daily the sacrifice He gave for me.-Amen!
