It Is Through the Word of God that We Are Corrected
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)   All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17  that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
 
It is through the Word of God that we are converted, convicted, cleansed, comforted, counseled, and corrected.
The other day I was talking with someone and asked them how they were doing. The person responded not all that well. I asked him if he was in the Word of God and he said no. I then responded do you see why you are not doing well and of course he said he knew. I told him it was up to him if he wanted to grow in Christ.
