The Preeminence of Christ

"  And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent." Colossians 1:18 (ESV)
I spoke yesterday of the preeminence, the supremacy of Christ in our lives. And I made this statement. The reason why some of you are getting little or nothing out of your faith, your religion is because Jesus Christ is not first place. You blame it on the pastor, you blame it on the church, the music, you blame it on something but the truth is your loyalty and allegiance is with someone or something else. God calls that idolatry. Does God call you an idolater?  There are no idolaters in heaven.
