the prayer closet

 "  But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."-Matthew 6:6 (ESV)
I heard about an owner of a small business who was greatly respected by his employees. They knew he went out of his way to be fair to them and that more than once during hard times he sacrificed the business' profits to keep his employees working. After his death on of his long-time employees was showing the man's grandson around the factory. "This was the secret of his success." he said. 'Every morning he slipped in here before anyone else arrived and spent at least half an hour in prayer."
