The Power of God Unto Salvation

The word salvation carried tremendous meaning in Paul's day, It basic meaning is "deliverance" and t was applied to personal and national deliverance. I believe most people today do not think they are sinners and need a Savior. But the gospel delivers sinners from the penalty and power of sin. Salvation is a major theme in this letter, salvation is the great need of of the human race.
