Adam and the Penalty for Sin in the World
Romans 5:12 (NKJV) ,"...and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—" As Adam was the door through which sin entered the world, sin was the door through which death entered the world. Adam would have lived for ever but sin brought death. Death became part of the fallen human nature. There is 100 percent chance that everyone in this place will die unless Jesus returns soon. We are born with a sin nature inherited from Adam. King David said,” Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity and in sin my mother conceived me” ( Psalm 51:5) In other words, a person does not become a sinner because he commits sin. He commits sin because he is a sinner.
