The Just Shall Live By faith

"  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."- Romans 1:17

Romans 1:17 is considered by many the key verse of Romans. In it Paul announces the theme:" the righteousness of God." The word righteous is used in one way or another over sixty times in Romans. God's righteous is revealed in the gospel; for in the death of Christ, God revealed His righteousness by punishing sin and in the resurrection of Christ; He revealed His righteousness by making salvation to the believing sinner.
