Spiritual Authority

" But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." Matthew 9:6
God has full authority in heaven and on earth. Yet He share His power with people in leadership positions. Authority according to the Bible, when given to people, is never bossy or authoritarian. The Lord's leaders serve others with their spiritual gifts. They shift the spotlight to Jesus, where our focus needs to be. They use their authority to uplift the weak, lonely and outcast. They serve while they lead.
