" and behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."  Luke 24:49

This has always been a dilemma for me. We say we have the Holy Spirit in our lives upon being born again and I believe that. But I don't seem to have the promised power from the Holy Spirit. Jesus told them to wait until they receive the power. Well- they did and we had "Pentecost". I do need a "Pentecost" in my life and ministry.
Father God, I believe I need a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I receive "handful on purpose" and I thank You for those times of anointing. But, Lord, I want that "dunamis" power you have promised us. I want to declare the Word in Holy Spirit power. Thank you!- Amen!
