The second reason we need to get into Romans is:
The Doctrinal Reason
The book of Romans deals with a number of theological issues in a very comprehensive way.
What are some of these issues:
The Resurrection; Christ’ deity; Christ’s humanity
Faith; Judgment; Sin and depravity; justification; Reconciliation; Sanctification; Security; Election; the Second Coming of Christ and the judgment of believers.
You see most of our pew warmers do not have a clue about some of these doctrines. They are so used to absorbing good vibrations and going home without really knowing who Jesus Christ is and what He teaches and commands us.
