THE PRIVILEGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORD OF GOD
There is no better way to appreciate the privileges associated with having been given the very words of God than to hear Scripture’s own testimony

1. It Is Through the Word of God that We Are Converted
   

Psalm 19:7 (NKJV)  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
1 Peter 1:23 (ESV)   since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
James 1:18 (ESV)   Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
John 20:30-31 (ESV)   Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;   but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
 
2 Timothy 3:15 (ESV)   and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
