How many would be honest and admit,” I have drifted away from the Lord?
I do not have the zeal, the fire that I had before?
God is saying return to me. But the people say, How have we drifted away, How shall we return ?
Look what God says,” Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘ How have we robbed you? In your tithes and contributions.”( Malachi 3:8)
Now if someone came up to you right now and said,” You are a thief.” I am sure you would be offended and begin to defend yourself. You would probably become angry.
But God says,” If you are not tithing( giving at least 10%) you are robbing me. You are a thief.
