Let's talk about pruning or cutting back. Those of us who are in Christ Jesus , God will prune. That is He will begin to eliminate all that is taking away the energy, the resources that prevent us from being an abundant fruitbearing believer. Jesus says in John 15:5-" I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."  Pruning can be painful. For God is eliminating all that is not Jesus in our lives. What is it that keeps you from bearing much fruit? Your goals, career, money, a relationship, unforgiveness, a sorry attitude, what is it? Let God prune them away so that you will be a fruitbearing follower of Jesus Christ.
