" And he fixed his gaze and stared at him, until he was embarrassed. And the man of God wept."-2 Kings 8:11 (ESV)
To cry is to be deeply moved. Tears are the language of sorrow or joy. In God's presence, it can be both. Sorrow over our sin and joy for being forgiven. God can dry every tear from our eyes. He also assures us that in His New Heaven there will be no more mourning and tears. Then sorrow and suffering are forever gone, a thing of the past. Boy that is good news.
