Devotionals
Many times in the Bible God promises to answer our prayer. One example is Jeremiah 33:3," Call to Me and I will answer." God always answers prayer but Not always the answer we want. God is not a genie nor is he a vending machine. He is the Sovereign God. So how does God answer prayer? In four ways: YES! NO! WAIT! or GROW! Three of these most of us do not like. The Bible is full of examples of God saying 'NO' to prayer. God said no to Abraham in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah. God said no to King David on his new born son. Even Jesus had prayers answered no. When he asked if this cup ( the cross) could be lifted from him. In the next days we will examine "WHEN GOD SAYS NO!"
