Luke Eleven

I wish I could use the entire chapter for a devotional but that is not possible. There is so, so much. The disciple ask Jesus to teach them how to pray. Wouldn't that have been some teaching session. They said," Lord, teach us to pray..." After he share the prayer outline we call the Lord's Prayer then he went into an illustration of how we should be persistent in our prayer. He said," Keep on asking, Keep on seeking, Keep on Knocking. Everyone who asks , receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. I have found this to be true. Then here is the biggy: So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. Have you asked for the Holy Spirit?
