1. The first lesson to be learned on lostness from Romans 1 is:
   Because all have sinned, only the grace of God keeps us from being included in Romans 1.
   

Bishop Handley Moule warns all who have studied Romasn 1:” It is just when a man is nearest to God for himself that he sees what , but for grace of God, he would be.”
 The second lesson to be learned is:
The weapon against sin in Romans 1 is the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
 Only God can change a heart. Only God through Jesus Christ can transform anyone. He has the power to change anyone.
