Knowing God's Will

In Proverbs 3 we are given conditions to know and to receive God's guidance. The first condition is that we learn God's truth. The will of God is revealed in the Word of God. Colossians 1:9-10 (NKJV)  says,
"  For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; "  The only way to know God's will is to study His Word and obey. Obedience to the Word can add years to our lives and life to our years.
