your name is written in the Book

I read through the Book of Revelation every month. There are 22 chapters. So I have read through this magnificent book numerous times. Each time there is this amazing wonder to it. But the most frightening is not the plagues, and the bowls of wrath it is found in chapter 20. It says this," ...and books were opened, And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books."(vs.12)
When I first read this a sense of dreadful fear fell over me. I then asked God , is my name written in the Book of Life? This is a question we should all ask.
The response I received from the Lord was,"Yes, your name is written in the Book." Oh, what assurance that is. Oh, what joy that brings.
Is you name written in the Book of Life?
