Luke 8:12    "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.
Christ makes it perfectly clear that not everyone who hears the Gospel will believe. They hear but refuse the free gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ. And their destiny is a devil's hell.
