Romans 1:17 (NKJV)   For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Here we go: We accept Christ Jesus as our personal Savior by faith. That is where it begins. It is God who gives us that faith to accept Jesus, to believe in Jesus, to believe His Word. That begins our faith walk.  Someone said," There can be no spiritual reality apart from an active faith in Christ." So the Holy Spirit quickens us to our life of sin, we realize we need a Savior and God reveals us to His Son ,Jesus and we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we are saved. The beginning of  a new life. It all begins by faith. You see that don't you?
