1. The Building of the Spirit

After we are born again, we are babes in Christ: we have to be nurtured, nourished, nursed :
Paul said to a group in1 Corinthians 3:1-2 (ESV)
1  But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ.
2  I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready,
 
No one is born an adult. We are babies. We need to be feed , clothed, care for by others. I am afraid some here have never been nurtured properly when you were born again and you are still infants. Unable to partake of serious spiritual food.
Let me use the physical fitness illustration:
I often mention about the gym and the guy that is always working out. He is bulk up. I have observed him:

1. He is dedicated. He has dedicated time to workout
2. He is disciplined. He has a workout regimen he follows every day.
3. He has a diet. He eats certain things that help in the building of his body.
4. He is determined. Nothing stops him from working out. He comes daily and puts out an determined effort.
   
5. I think we can learn from him and apply it to the spiritual area.
