Proverbs 4:14-15 (NKJV) "Do not enter the path of the wicked, And do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it and pass on."
God's children can't expect God's leading if they shuttle back and forth between the path of wisdom and the path of the wicked. We should stay as far away from that path as we can! Don't enter it! Avoid it! Don't go near it! Go as far as you can! Certainly we must witness to unsaved people whom the Lord brings to us, but we must never adopt their lifestyle or imitate their ways. God doesn't guide His children when they are walking in darkness. When we are living in the will of God, the path gets brighter and brighter, not darker and darker.

We should avoid the path of being in love. I don't know why I am saying this now. I used to be a hopeless romantic. I am not sure what exactly that meant but I chase people a lot and tell them I love them, they don't have to love me back. I just don't want them to stop me from loving them. I am not ugly or broke so there shouldn't be any problem but for some reason none of these people ever loved me back. Now that I am old, surprisingly I have a truckload of people who want to love my brains out. I don't understand why they are all here now. Where are they when I needed them?
