"Now while I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication...while I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering.  He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding.  "At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision." -Daniel 9:20-23 (NASB)

There is a cost to answered prayer. Praying, confessing, pleading, laboring, waiting- Not all prayers are this way but there are some that we must labor over. Particularly those with specific plans that God  has set forth.

Abba Father, I know that you do answer prayer. I know that I give up to easily. Help me to labor in prayer. Help me to be persistent and consistent with You. Lord what do You want us to do- Show us, please. -Amen!

Praying is one of the things we must always do in order for us to be stronger in faith and in love. I cannot imagine life without love and faith. We must believe in something for us to go on in life. However, I do not believe in confession. I do not get the logic on why do we have to share our sins to the priests when in fact they are also person like us. It is better to meditate and change and also make a change.
