Too, too many Christians are “betweeners”; They live between Egypt and the Promised Land.- saved but never satisfied. They live between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. Believing in the cross but not entering into the power and glory of the resurrection.
Romans 6:5 indicates that our union with Christ assures our future resurrection should we die. But Romans 6:4 teaches that we share His resurrection power today. Col.3:1,3 says,” Since , then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above… For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Are you a betweener- saved but not satisfied- believing in Him but not living in Him.Let me just asked you some questions and you decide today: Do you have a hunger and thirst for righteousness? That is you want to be a true follower of Jesus Christ and live like Him Do you have a desire to see people come to Christ? Do you ever share your testimony with anyone? Do you ever invite anyone to church, to a Bible study? What about your giving? Do you give regularly what God wants you to give to His church? What about your desire or lack of desire to be in the Word of God and how about your prayer life? Here is the last question: When convicted by the Holy Spirit to do something or not to do something, you say, “One day I will”. Depending on how you answer these questions is whether you are a “betweener” or you are “ living in the Promised Land of abundant living.

I am not really religious person, but I know in myself that I have my own faith that makes me who I am. Perhaps, I can consider myself as “betweener” because I have my faith but I don’t memorize everything that is written on the Bible. Well, all of us have our ways on managing our faith that’s why I understand if some people would judge us just because we aren’t the same as what and who are they. Though I admit that I need to read Bible, the important thing is my relationship with Him.
