Diagrams of Three Types of People:
Spirit –Soul – Body- An awakening, ability to grow , most believers are here but never grow. In the infant stage Here is one with a growing spirit:
When the spirit is alive it brings the soul and body under control. I know of people that are out of control in the areas of soul and body. There is no way they will ever get them under control until the spirit is birth or is stronger.

. The next thing is serving the Lord.
1 Corinthians 12 show us how God equips us with spiritual gifts to make the Body of Christ strong and healthy. It shows us the various gifts. How has God equipped you to serve and are you serving Him with the spiritual gifts he has given you? Are you serving in any capacities in the kingdom of God? Did you know we are going to be serving God in the New Jerusalem in eternity? Abi over here is going to Haiti soon. He serves the Lord in the way, God has equipped him through music.. Others serve the Lord through Kingdom Kids, VBS, Worship team, Greeting, ushering, teaching, etc, Do you know you serve the Lord in giving? Those tithes and offerings go around the world through missions! We drink the milk of Word and then we eat the meat of the Word.
Hebrews 5:12-14 (ESV) 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, 13 for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. 14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. Paul lamented over the fact, he couldn’t share the meat of the Word with the Corinthians, they were living in the soulish and physically areas of life. Who of you think you are feasting on the Word of God and growing daily? Who believes you are walking in the Spirit as God commands us to do so? Do you truly desire to grow? Are you engaged in any type of regular Bible study? If not, why? Are you in the Word of God daily? I suggest you read Psalm 119 and just see how important the Word of God is to God and to you. Do you regularly communicate with God?( Prayer)
In chapter 5 of Matthew , Jesus says, Three times, When you pray- believing that His followers would want to talk with Him. He even gives us instructions on how to pray. We call it the Lord’s Prayer. He also says, “When you fast” How often do you fast and pray? When I brought this subject up it got very quiet in our church. Very, very few even take this into consideration- “Fasting”. Really, are we serious about our relationship with Christ? Are we really serious about growing in Christ? |
