abundant joy

 " In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.  Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."John 16:23-24 (ESV)

Christ Jesus expects us to ask Him for that which we need, that which we are concerned. But do we take these things to Him in prayer? Often we don't except in emergencies. When we ask in Jesus' name then we will experience abundant joy.

Abba Father, I come to You today asking that You do a mighty work in my life that I may serve You fully and completely. That my joy may be full and that others may experience Your life in them.-Amen!
