“All paths lead to God.” Every heard that statement? I have even heard that from supposedly Christian people.
But that is not what Jesus said,” Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there many who go in by it.”( Matt.7:13)
 
Jesus consistently teaches the difficulty of following Him. The two gates in these verses represent every person’s choice: following Jesus or following any other path. Only the more difficult, less-chosen gate to follow Christ leads to life. I have actually known some who have abandon the narrow road and jump back into the wide path.
O Lord, help us to keep our eyes on You and stay on the narrow path.
