"O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. " -2 Chronicles 20:6 (NIV)
God is in control of the nations even though we may not think so. He places people in power. He deposes them. He is in control. No leader is in place without the permission of God.

Abba Father, do not let me stress out over the political unrest we see daily in our world. For I know that You are in control . Even the worst of the worst are under Your control.- Amen!

" I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me." Proverbs 8:17( NKJV)

This is perplexing. God says, I love those who love me. Is His love unconditional or conditional?Then He says if I seek Him diligently I will find Him. Am I really seeking God or just coasting along. Is this the reason why some who want more of Jesus don't seem to be getting more because they are not deliberate and diligent?

I do love you, Abba Father, with all my heart, soul, mind and spirit. I love You. I seek You every day. I want to be with You, to know You, to love You, to follow You and to obey You. Reveal yourself to me.- Amen!

" O my God, listen to me and hear my request...We do not ask because we deserve help, but because you are merciful." Daniel 9:18(NLT)

I can go to my Heavenly Father        and I can ask or plead with Him on the character and mercy of His Son, Jesus Christ. I know  Father will answer me.
Abba Father, I do need Your help and mercy. Father, I am so inconsistent, so helpless, so impatient, sometimes so confused. Help me, please. I want to do right in your sight. I want to be Your prophet in these days. Hear I am. speak through me.-Amen!

" Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to you name be glory, because of your love and faithfulness." Psalm 115:1(NIV)

From my observation there are too many that want the glory and not You, O Lord.  I hope I am not stealing your glory. I want you to be glorified. Your love and faithfulness seen all around me. Forgive me, when I have promoted myself over You for I was and am wrong. Let it all be to Your glory.

Abba Father, as I talk with You right now I am afraid I have not honored you properly. I am afraid that I have promoted self over the Savior. My heart is heavy and I ask you to forgive me.-Amen!
