From Scripture you can know that Christ is coming again.
Of the more than 100 prophecies dealing with the first coming of Christ, all of them are fulfilled precisely , literally. His riding on a donkey, the parting of his garments at the crucifixion, the piercing of His hands and feet, that the vivid prophecies of His rejection by men in Isaiah 53- all these might have been interpreted symbolically by Old Testament scholars before Christ. But the New Testament record repeatedly reports that such things were fulfilled in the most literal sense, so “that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled”( Matt.25:26)

Is Christ Really Coming Back?
Scripture is not vague or unclear on the promise of Christ’s return. A large portion ( by some accounts , as much as one-fifth) of Scripture is prophetic and perhaps a third or more of the prophetic passages refer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ or events related to it. It is undeniably a major theme in the prophecy of both the Old and New Testaments. I read an article the other day and it listed several reason why Christ has to return. It was taking from a book by John MacArthur and I shared this with my congregation yesterday. I will share this in the days ahead. If you read the Scriptures you will clearly understand Jesus is coming back. Revelation 1:7 (NLT2) " Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him-- even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!" Are we in the Last Days? Let us see what Paul said to Timothy.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NLT2) You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! You decide from this are we in the Last Days? I have missed out on the last few days of posting any devotionals and I apologize to you for this. I want to focus on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ for a time. I will share some Scripture and some points related to Christ second coming. Look at this verse and let it sink in. Titus 1:15-16 (NLT2) " Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good. " We have those going around claiming to be Christians but their lives say just the opposite. Someone said that our lives are a letter to be read by those around us. What does your letter say>
